With the global shift to online retail, Lightfoot Wines needed a more adaptable, intuitive retail solution that offered frictionless customer experiences both on and offline.

The project scope included migration to Shopify e-commerce, delivering a more robust, reliable and scalable commerce solution, with the addition of Shopify POS integration for the Cellar Door.

Shop and product displays were given a UX upgrade to optimise sales funnels, amplify product information and drive conversions. This included a wine characteristics table with tasting notes added to products, giving Viticulturist and Winemaker, Tom Lightfoot the chance to share additional notes that were normally reserved for in-person cellar door visits.

While on the distribution side, advanced shipping integration opened up national delivery opportunities and helped to level out previously prohibitive shipping prices to interstate and outer metro destinations.

Automation was also key, so to streamline the repeat ordering process, we integrated subscription services and migrated digital marketing to Klaviyo for more targeted email automation.

This included segmentation and creation of email flows throughout the customer journey that focused on more user-centric services like saved cart and restock reminders as well as seasonally-timed prompts, providing a more tailored service to customers living increasingly busy lives.
